Kathy Williams OLY

Kathy Williams OLY is a co-founder and award-winning director of RJC Dance. Recognised in 2020 with the One Dance UK Lifetime Achievement Award in Dance of the African Diaspora. Kathy leads the award-winning RJC Dance organisation which delivers dance and cultural programmes for children, young people, adults & elders.. As an Olympic gymnast, she represented Great Britain in the 1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympics in after which her career has been focused on creating transformative experiences through movement and the arts for children, young people and communities. Kathy lead one of the few UK Black British led dance organises and has dedicated her life’s work to the development of dance of the African Caribbean diaspora by changing perceptions and building legacy.
Kathy will be leading the Wellbeing and Mental health for Young People (everyone) session alongside Georgia Cooper, Mohammed Saeed and two One Dance UK ambassadors.
