Mohammed Saeed

Saeed is currently studying a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing Arts at Bradford College. He has also been a member of the Dance United Yorkshire Performance Company for the past 4 years. During his time with DUY, Saeed has worked as a peer mentor on two intensive projects, worked with Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures, made two dance films and participated in a project in Aruba. Saeed has also been selected to be a member of ‘Cygnet School’, a new year-long training scheme run by New Adventures. Saeed has gained a lot of skills during his time as a performer at both college and with DUY. These skills have contributed to his happiness in life and given him more confidence. As a result of these skills, Saeed now finds it easier to approach challenging situations in life and resolve emotional problems more maturely. Finding his passion in dance has improved Saeed’s mental health significantly. Saeed would like to say a huge thank you to his college and his dance company, DUY.
