We’re very pleased to announce two new appointments to our Board of Directors, both bringing specialisms in marketing and digital technology to augment the Board’s already powerfully diverse range of skills.

Stuart Clarke is the co-founder of a successful marketing consultancy working with clients across the professional services, digital and arts sectors. He is also an advisor and non-executive director to a number of start-ups, and is the co-founder and Festival Director of the Leeds Digital Festival, as well as being a member of the Leeds Digital Board and the co-founder of Media Yorkshire.

Jules Caton worked as a designer and Creative Director specialising in branding and brand communications and has worked in a number of leading design, advertising, digital and branding consultancies. She spent 16 years at Brahm heading up Design, Digital, Advertising creative, studio and production and was a director and then Managing Director of the company. Jules has also worked in recent years as a strategic consultant for the arts in partnership with Yorkshire Business in the Arts and as a Non-Executive Board Director for Yorkshire Business in the Arts, Magpie Communications, The LEAF Academy Trust and Bloom.

Jules and Stuart join as us we receive news that our funding from Arts Council England is to be maintained for 2018-2022, and we’re very grateful to them both – and to the rest of the Board – for giving up their time to help steer Yorkshire Dance through the next phase of its life.
