Dance Partner Projects
Yorkshire Dance’s Dance Partner Projects gives 4 artists / companies the opportunity to research and develop a new artistic idea / project over a 12-month period.
The opportunity will include supporting artists with:
- Studio / residency time (up to 4 weeks)
- co-commissioning fee of £500
- on-going advice & producing support by Yorkshire Dance’s Artist Development Producer
- 2 intensive professional development workshop periods offering new artistic tools to be adapted in the research, development & feedback of work with experts in the field (ie. dramaturgy, choreography)
- 2 peer support sessions
We will select 2 artists / companies through an open call-out twice a year, with deadlines in June and December. For this first round we are prioritising artists who are living and creating work in Yorkshire / the North.
