Meg works as Operations Manager for Phoenix Dance Theatre, having relocated to Leeds in 2023. This followed several years in charity operations and comms for organisations in Bristol and London, and the completion of degrees in Film and Journalism/Communications from the University of Southampton and Cardiff University respectively.

Originally coming from a dance and theatre background, Meg trained through the Royal Ballet School associate programme and at The Arts Educational School Tring Park, leading to a previous career in performance, teaching, choreography, movement direction and theatre production. Meg has taught and led dance courses at a range of schools, universities and arts companies across the South of England, including as a dance director for the youth performance programme at The Rose Theatre, and an instructor at Pavilion Dance South West.

After moving away from performance and teaching to work in charity operations and project/events management, Meg has been excited to return to the dance industry both in her role at Phoenix and by becoming a Yorkshire Dance trustee. Meg is enjoying getting to know Leeds and looks forward to further supporting Yorkshire Dance.
