About Young at Arts
Young at Arts is a two-year project, part of Time to Shine, a six-year programme delivered by Leeds Older People’s Forum and funded through Big Lottery Fund Ageing Better.
Programmes are currently running in Morley and Richmond Hill, both of which are open to anyone. Weekly sessions are also taking place in three care homes in Leeds. Forthcoming events include Food For Thought workshops at Armley Junk-tion Cafe, and two Weekends of Wonder – see our What’s On page for details.
Time to Shine takes a city-wide approach to addressing the social isolation of older people. The LEAF partnership’s Young at Arts is creating social opportunities through culture and the arts.
