Into the sky: Tots & their Grown Ups | 9.00-10.00am

Join us as we soar and fly together, in this creative and playful session for tots and their grown-ups.

Together with your little one, we will explore, move and dance through a multi-sensory land above the clouds, inspired by the themes of Skydiver. Louise McDowell and Alex Mettam will lead playful movement activities using a variety of props, music and obstacles to stimulate the senses.

This session is for families with babies and young children aged 0-5 (older siblings and non-crawlers are very welcome).

About our Workshops

This is a practical session inviting you and your little ones to move. No previous dance experience is necessary, and everyone is welcome. Please wear comfortable clothes, trainers or bare feet.

Our building is fully accessible, baby changing, a quiet space and room to leave prams are available during the festival. Chest feeding is welcome throughout the venue. Full access information for Yorkshire Dance is available here.

About Pay As You Feel

At Yorkshire Dance, we’re committed to making our work affordable for everyone so all our events are Pay As You Feel. When booking you can either click on one of the suggested amounts or you can enter your own amount. If you cannot afford to pay anything you are very welcome to attend simply enter £0 as you checkout.

Once you have booked your ticket your name is added to our register. Just head to the welcome desk at Yorkshire Dance at least 10 minutes before your event to sign in.

This is a pay as you feel event as part of Encounters Children & Their Grown Ups. Taking place at Yorkshire Dance, this one-day festival invites us to explore the imaginations and playfulness in all of us.
