Morning Class with Dan WatsonEvent type: Workshop Part of: Working with Artists
Thu 17 Aug, 10:00am
Venue: Yorkshire Dance
Payment by cash only to Dan Watson
Dan’s class is an invitation to dance, play and explore with other people. Using an eclectic combination of playful tasks and open sequences we will move from a gentle start; building awareness and connectivity, gradually building to full body dancing… whatever that means! Bring yourself, bring your body, bring a cocktail (maybe not that last one).
Dan’s class is open to all, come and dance to your own level. There may be Abba, just saying.
This class is part of Dan’s residency at Yorkshire Dance where he is developing his new work, Largely Unsung, looking at themes of peripherality, desire and the backing singer.
Also Tue 15 and Wed 16 August.
