with Ella Robson Guilfoyle
This workshop will look at ways of creating material using themes and tasks from current projects. Ella works with text, voice and movement with the aim of communicating ideas.
‘I create material with artists from a variety of physical backgrounds so I’m interested in providing sessions that access the unique movement quality of each individual. Sessions centre around improvisational tasks which help movers find grounding, centre and fluidity.’
Suitable for professional dancers, or circus artists and actors with good movement ability.
Ella choreographs movement for dance, circus, theatre and fashion, for live performance and film. Her background is in contemporary dance and she trained at London Contemporary Dance School and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
Ella’s work seeks to explore our relationships with each other and our environment. Her workshops aim to bring artists together to share ideas and play, providing a nurturing space to discuss and challenge how we approach the creation process.
