Yorkshire Dance run performances, festivals and community dance programmes throughout the year. Our volunteer roles cover everything from event helpers, social media to fundraising. We offer all our volunteers a positive experience and welcome volunteers from all walks of life.

Ageless Festival 2026 Volunteer | 10-11 July 2026 

Are you looking for event experience within a lively arts organisation? Join us as a volunteer for Ageless 2026. 

Ageless is 2-day biannual festival including dance workshops, performances, talks and films which reimagine age and ageing. 

Volunteering with us is an opportunity to engage with cutting-edge dance and performance art and gain an insider perspective into the running of an arts festival. We can offer you shifts around the dates and times that suit you – daytime, evening and weekend shifts will be available. 

Volunteer shifts are four hours in length in either the morning, afternoon and evening. You can indicate your preferred shift in the enquiry form below.   

Volunteer tasks and responsibilities

• Ushering in performances
• Guiding attendees to different parts of the festival
• Setting up and clearing away spaces 
• Social media support 
• Support artists in events (workshops/talks) 

Through discussion with the volunteer supervisor volunteers will be given a choice of tasks depending on their existing skills and interests.
