Rhythmosaic presents Shattered Silence, a double-bill dance production featuring Knotted and Desolate.

Knotted explores the position of migrant artists within the British landscape, drawing on the colonial legacy of British imperialism in contexts.

Desolate amplifies the voices of those living on the margins of society, lacking distinct identities marked by gender, class, cast and creed. Desolate represents the utterances of those souls who are compelled to settle in unsettled conditions, living freely yet brutally trapped within.

Knotted and Desolate draw on human emotions living on the edge.  Both performances aim to evoke powerful memories of human will and their zeal for existence over crises that transform lives and rewrite stories.
