Plants & Pots: Parents & Tots Workshop | 9.30-10.30am
Join us as we stretch out our roots, embrace the raindrops and wiggle like worms in this creative and playful session for tots and their grown ups.
Together with your little ones, we will explore, move and dance through a multi-sensory nature adventure inspired by the themes of the festival.
Louise McDowell and Alex Mettam will lead playful movement activities using a variety of props, music and obstacles to stimulate the senses.
This session is for families with babies and young children aged 0-5 (older siblings and non-crawlers are welcome)
Age suitability
An age range is provided for guidance only. We welcome family audiences of all ages and performers are . If you have any queries or concerns about age suitability please give us a ring before booking on 0113 243 8765.
Find us and access
Yorkshire Dance is opposite BBC Yorkshire and Leeds Conservatoire. There is step free access throughout the building and wheelchair spaces are available. Our building contains baby changing, free drinking water and a rest space. A room to leave prams is available throughout the festival. Chest or breast feeding is welcome throughout the venue. About Pay What You Can
At Yorkshire Dance, we’re committed to making our work affordable for everyone so all our events are Pay What You Can. By donating £8.00 you are contributing to future festivals and ensuring everyone in our community can access a ticket they can afford. If you cannot afford £8.00 you are welcome to enter your own amount or simply enter £0 as you checkout.
Once you have booked your ticket your name is added to our register. Just head to the welcome desk at Yorkshire Dance at least 10 minutes before your event to sign in. Please book a ticket for each person attending.
