Yorkshire Dance are seeking applications from artists based in Yorkshire for their Dance Partner Projects programme 2026-27.

Dance Partner Projects is open to dance artists or companies who are based in the North (priority is given to artists based in Yorkshire). The programme aims to provide dance artists/ companies at different career stages with an opportunity to research and develop a new or early-stage artistic project.

The artists or companies selected for Dance Partner Projects 2026-27 benefit from a £3,000 commission, residency space, producer support and opportunities to share work at our annual scratch night and within our festival programme.

Dance Partners is an annual opportunity for Yorkshire artists. Previous artists supported through the scheme include Izzy Brittain, Alethia Antonia, Kayleigh Price and Bakani Pick-Up. In 2023-24 Alicia Meehan received support for her project What Adult Am I. Click here to read her reflections on the support she received.
