George Liang

George Liang is a Taiwan born dancer, choreographer, and cultural engagement leader whose work spans performance, creative development, digital communication, and community outreach. He is a professional ballet dancer with Northern Ballet, where he has performed many principal and leading roles, and began his professional career with the National Ballet of Canada.

Alongside his performance career, George has developed a choreographic practice rooted in storytelling, collaboration, and inclusivity. His work has been presented by Northern Ballet, the Royal Ballet and Opera, the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Renaissance Arts Conservatoire, Central School of Ballet, and the Academy of Northern Ballet.

George is also the founder and director of Project Sauté, a cross cultural platform connecting Mandarin speaking communities with ballet through translation, workshops, podcast content, and digital dance education. From 2021 to 2025, he led digital content strategy at London Vocational Ballet School, overseeing photography, videography, interviews, and social media storytelling.

George is a passionate advocate for widening access, representation, and meaningful engagement in dance.
