Amplified was a development programme committed to presenting work in new contexts and creating a dialogue between audience and artist in Yorkshire and the North.

Amplified supported Yorkshire-based artists to explore the potential of projects and created opportunities to test the work in conversation with programmers and audiences. This included work for venues and new dance spaces, as well as work for festivals and community settings.

Amplified supported the creation and production of artistic work while working closely with dance spaces across the north of England to develop audiences for contemporary dance, work which Yorkshire Dance is continuing.
