We are currently seeking a new Producer (Older Adults) and a Dance On Project Assistant
Producer (Older Adults) 15 hours per week (2 days)
Salary £30,900 (Full time equivalent salary)
Are you passionate about increasing access and inclusion in the arts? Do you have excellent organisation skills and enjoy working in a team?
Yorkshire Dance are looking for someone to join the team part time as a Producer (Older People). You will be managing In Mature Company and Dancing Together which support people living with dementia to enjoy dance. You will contribute to key initiatives with older people, including our biannual Ageless Festival.
Main Duties
Project Management
- Annual project planning, management and delivery of In Mature Company and Dancing Together
- Managing and supporting freelance artists
- Managing partnerships and relationships with stakeholders.
- Supporting timely data collection and evaluation.
- Championing and advocating for Yorkshire Dance’s work with older adults
Producing
- Supporting the curation of Ageless Festival 2026
- Planning and managing one-off audience development programmes for Ageless 2026 including contracting freelance artists and scheduling outreach workshops and rehearsals.

Dance On Project Assistant 30 hours per week (4 days)
Salary £25,000 (Full time equivalent salary)
Do you enjoy meeting and engaging people from all walks of life? Are you looking for a varied role where you can develop a variety of admin and marketing skills? Are you a natural organiser who enjoys improving processes and using your initiative?
Yorkshire Dance are looking for a part-time Project Administrator to support our Dance On project.
Main Duties
Project Coordination
- Coordinate artist cover for weekly sessions
- Support coordination of annual events such as flashmobs and Christmas and Summer parties.
- Support the Older Adults Ambassador and Manage the Dance On Social Committee.
- Be the main point of contact for logistics with community partners.
- Represent Dance On at external events
Admin
- Customer service in response to Dance On enquiries
- Manage data collection and accurate record keeping
- Support preparation of funder reports
Marketing
- Implement and evaluate the annual campaign plan for Dance On
- Lead on website updates and the creation and distribution of newsletters, social media and print for Dance On.
- Lead on communicating relevant Yorkshire Dance events and opportunities to Dance On participants.
- Support the development of press releases relating to Dance On.

About Yorkshire Dance
Each year Yorkshire Dance supports 200 local dance artists, hosts 2 dance festivals, supports 2 sub-regional dance networks and delivers 1,600 weekly community dance sessions for over 1,000 participants.
