Event Details
Cinematography and choreography collide in this engaging selection of international dance films. From blindfolded twisters to Maya Deren and AI, this year’s shortlisted films showcase the huge variety of this burgeoning international genre.
This year’s International Screendance Competition showcases 9 dance films across a 70-minute screening. An international jury select one film for a cash prize and you can also vote for your favourite film and debate with the filmmakers in a post-show discussion. The winner of the public vote is announced on the night.
The Leeds International Screendance Competition is part of Leeds International Film Festival. Tickets are on sale via Leeds International Film Festival’s website.
