How long have you been a Dance Artist with Dance On?

‘I have been a dance artist on the Dance On programme since it was a pilot project in Keighley, way back in 2018!’

Favourite dance style?

‘My favourite dance style is Carnival / Soca.’

Favourite song to dance to?

‘At the moment my favourite song to dance to is Savanah Grass by Kes. It has been a favourite in all of my lessons. It really gets you going and smiling the whole way through.’

What’s your favourite thing about Dance On?

‘That it is for everyone no matter your ability. There is always a way to make it accessible. I also love that the sessions have become families for some people. They have made life-long friends who they see outside of their sessions.’

Advice to people thinking of joining Dance On as a participant?

‘Just come along to a session and try it out. It’s all about having fun and making friends while having a boogie!’
