Sadly we have made the decision along with Hull Culture and Leisure and Hull College to suspend FRESH 2020, our annual showcase of regional Youth Dance, which was due to take place at Hull New Theatre and Hull College on the 28th March. We are very disappointed that companies will not be able to perform and that audiences will not have the chance to see this showcase but, in line with government guidance, we think that this in the best interests of the safety and wellbeing of our staff, performers and audience members.

We will continue to pay our freelance artists who are involved with FRESH, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank those artists and youth companies for their cooperation and support during this difficult period. 

Everyone who has booked for a ticket for the FRESH Main Stage and/or Fringe Stage will receive an email from ourselves or Hull New Theatre about the process for refunding tickets. 

We are in the process of reviewing the rest of our participation and performance programme as well as the general operations of Yorkshire Dance. We will update you on this as soon as possible.
