Dance Transports offered high quality continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities to Yorkshire. Up until 2023 we ran three Dance Transports each year for artists from across Yorkshire. Artists were selected via an open call out. To find out about our current artist programmes join our artist mailing list.

• Artists received a financial contribution to attend as opposed to paying for professional development.
• Everyone in the room was recognised for their expertise and invited to contribute and lead aspects of the exchange.
• Guest artists and companies were involved but with an understanding of a careful facilitated approach which gave voice to all artists taking part.

COVID-19 changed our Dance Transports Programme significantly in  2020/21. We commissioned three artist-led exchanges following an open call-out. These exchanges took place online.
